In addition to general medicine Dr. Keane has a special interest in paediatrics and travel medicine.
Bio
Dr. Anthony Keane graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1979. He worked for 3 years at the St. George Hospital, Sydney then travelled extensively through Asia and Europe for 2 years. He worked in a number of hospitals in England where he obtained his Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Physicians.
On returning to Australia, Dr. Keane worked for the RACGP General Practitioner Training Scheme for 12 months. He then worked in general practice in St. Mary's and Granville before joining Hunters Hill Medical Practice in 1987. Dr. Keane obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1993. He is married with 3 children and still plays a reasonable game of soccer.
